1. Engagements
Lane Air is a founder-led, outcome-based engagement rather than a self-serve subscription. The specific terms of your engagement — including scope, billing schedule, notice period, and any refund eligibility — are defined in the service agreement we set up with you during onboarding.
- Cancellation: You may end your engagement in line with the notice terms in your service agreement
- Billing: Billing follows the schedule set out in your agreement
- Refunds: Any refund eligibility is governed by your agreement and the conditions below
2. Refund Eligibility
2.1 Eligible for Refund
You may be eligible for a refund if:
- You request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase
- You experience a significant service outage that we cannot resolve
- You were charged incorrectly due to a billing error
- The service does not function as advertised (with documented evidence)
2.2 Not Eligible for Refund
Refunds are generally not provided for:
- Change of mind after the 14-day period
- Failure to use the service during your engagement period
- Violation of our Terms of Use resulting in account suspension
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality
- Third-party service issues outside our control
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:

- Provide Details: Include your account email, subscription type, and reason for the refund request
- Wait for Review: Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days
- Receive Response: We will notify you of the approval or denial of your request
Refund Processing Time
If approved, refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days. The actual time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider.
4. Cancellation Process
4.1 How to Cancel
To end your engagement, email us at accounts@luminarylane.app and we'll process it in line with the notice terms in your service agreement.
4.2 What Happens After Cancellation
- Your engagement remains active through any notice period set out in your agreement
- You will not be billed beyond that period
- Your data remains accessible for 30 days after your engagement ends
- After 30 days, your data may be permanently deleted
5. Special Circumstances
5.1 Service Issues
If you experience significant service issues that prevent you from using Lane Air effectively, please contact our support team. We may offer:
- Service credits
- Extended subscription period
- Full or partial refund (at our discretion)
5.2 Billing Errors
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and correct any billing errors promptly.
6. Custom Engagements
For enterprise or custom engagements, refund and cancellation terms are defined in your individual service agreement. Please refer to your contract or contact your account manager for specific terms.
7. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
